About Valerie & The Purpose Project
I almost quit.
Not just leadership — after enduring a toxic executive environment that was making me physically sick.
Not just leading worship — when a culture of pressure and perfectionism led to overthinking and second-guessing my calling.
Not just speaking and teaching — when imposter syndrome became the loudest voice in my head.
It was deeper than that.
I almost quit believing I had purpose.
I almost forgot who I was in Christ.
I almost forgot what faith really looked like.
I almost forgot how to be brave.
And if you’re reading this and you feel stuck between where you are and where you sense God calling you — paralyzed by the what-ifs, exhausted from second-guessing, tired of playing small — I see you.
I understand.
Because I’ve been there too.
Why The Purpose Project Exists
The Purpose Project was born out of that season — not as a brand, but as a calling.
I realized something powerful:
Most Christian women in leadership aren’t lacking faith. But, they’re overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, and disconnected from who God says they are.
We’re told to trust God…
But no one taught us how to:
calm a dysregulated nervous system.
interrupt fear-based thought patterns.
lead without burning ourselves out.
or integrate emotional health with spiritual maturity.
So we keep pushing.
And striving. And people-pleasing.
And pretending everything is fine.
Until it isn’t.
The Purpose Project exists to help Christian women come back to the truth of who they are, and back to Jesus, in a way that is honest, grounded, and sustainable.
My Approach
In my work, I blend biblical truth, neuroscience, emotional intelligence, and leadership development to help women grow from the inside out.
This is not surface-level motivation.
It’s not spiritual bypassing.
And it’s not “just think positive.”
It’s learning how God designed your brain, your emotions, and what He says about your identity, and using that wisdom to lead with clarity, confidence, and courage.
Through Christian life coaching, I help women:
understand what’s really driving their fear and self-doubt.
break free from overthinking and burnout.
reconnect with God’s truth about who they are.
and take brave, aligned action in their life and leadership.
Who I Work With
I primarily serve Christian women in leadership who lead in the church, the marketplace, their families, or all three.
These are women who:
care deeply about their faith
want to lead with integrity and authenticity
but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or quietly unsure of themselves
They don’t need to be fixed. They need to be reminded who they are.
What I Believe
Being brave doesn’t mean being fearless. It means remembering who God called you to be and not needing permission from everyone around you to live it out.
Strong, resilient faith is born in the hard moments of life, the messy middle. But we have to keep showing up.
If it was possible for me to come back to my faith, my voice, and my calling, it’s possible for you too. There is purpose in. you. Because, Jesus.
And that’s why I’m here.
